The Del Sol Team is made up of staff that FEMA and GOHSEP know and have confidence in. We have worked with other municipalities on how to recognize the challenges of operations even during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Our team members know the issues that plague municipalities and we know how to avoid and/or resolve them. We are proficient with the databases and technology critical to program success, in fact, we developed several recovery program databases and maintain them daily.
With a combined 50+ years’ experience, the Del Sol Team has been furnishing disaster recovery program management, administration, and closeout services around the country for FEMA and CDBG-DR programs ranging from $1M to $3B. We understand FEMA processes and procedures and we have excellent relationships with FEMA agency staff. We have assisted municipalities in writing pre- application and applications. We have worked with applicants nationwide on EVERY major disaster since Hurricane Katrina, including but not limited to, Superstorm Sandy, BP Oil Spill, RESTORE Funds, Hurricane Harvey, and currently Hurricanes Laura, Delta, and Zeta.

Our disaster recovery work has pushed us to be extremely nimble continuously ramping up to facilitate emergency repairs via condensed design schedules to render critical facilities operable, this is second nature to us. All the while, we maintain strict adherence to funding source guidelines, so not to jeopardize reimbursement. We also understand that it is critical to place the RIGHT staff in the RIGHT place for only the amount of time required. We know HOW to transfer our knowledge to client staff and WHEN to turn our job over to them.
