Administrative Data Specialist

Del Sol Consulting, Inc. a fast-growing family-owned company that excels in storm restoration and disaster recovery is seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to work directly with our team. We are looking for a pleasant professional to perform a variety of data and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, the successful Data Entry Specialist should contribute to the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases. Their duties include inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers and double-checking their work to make sure they inputted data correctly.

• Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets
• Experience or skill entering data into a database or computer software.
• Double-checking their work to make sure they inputted data correctly
• Collecting client information
• Maintaining an organized filing system
• Reviewing data for completeness and accuracy
• Coding information
• Troubleshooting processing errors
• Complying with data integrity and security policies
• Printing and scanning files
• Generating reports
• Proven experience as a Sr. Data Entry Clerk or Data Entry Specialist
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, (copiers, printers and scanners)
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Experience or skill performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, or maintaining records.
• Experience researching and gathering objective and accurate information relevant to subjects of interest.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts.
• Experience or skill entering customer orders for goods or services into a company's entry system.
• Experience recording information from one document or medium to another.
• Skill or experience creating pivot tables from various data sources is ideal but not mandatory.
